"Just back from 11 days at this hotel and resort. And our family have come back with so many memories. Restaurant was great. So much to choose from and food was high quality. Made even more special by Takis and Andreas catching up daily to check in with us and have a laugh. They are a credit to the hotel. Hotel entertainment was great fun. With Vicky and Anes bringing all the laughs and giggles. We were really sad to say bye to these guys who the kids just clicked with and even my son done the water aerobics. Bingo each night was great fun. Bar staff were lots of fun and the drinks were fab compared to other resorts we have been too. Loads of variety and again a lot of laughs at the bar. Water park was excellent which was why I booked this hotel. This was a very personal experience for us, having been to larger resorts and you can tell the staff just love their jobs. Which showed everyday with their enthusiasm and kindness. Had the à la carte included which was delicious. Bus stop right outside the hotel. €6 each way for a family to travel into Protaras and back every 15-20 min. This was so handy."

"We had a fantastic stay at Silver Sands Hotel in Protaras, Cyprus. The hotel has a great location, right near the beautiful beach and close to the centre of Protaras. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the atmosphere, the pool area and the beautiful views. The food was also very good, with a nice variety of options. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our holiday. I would definitely recommend Silver Sands Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Protaras.We’ll definitely come next time we’re in Cyprus."

"Arrived home yesterday after a lovely week at the Vangelis suites. Hotel is lovely and modern and clean, staff excellent. As soon as we checked in the lady made a point that you cannot reserve a sunbed before 9am and made that very clear. To cut a long story short ..people will be up from 6 am to place a towel on the beds and either walk away with the lifeguard taking the towel and they have to claim it back with a post it on it as to what time is was left. Or people sit on the sunbeds from 6am !! This is not ideal when on holiday, you could get the odd bed after breakfast but if you was a family absolutely no chance. They have the adult only section which doesn’t really get used much as this is more a family hotel, so then pressure is put on the main pool and beds. They either need to open that pool for everyone to relief the pressure from the main pool or do what other hotels in Cyprus do after speaking to families and allocate sunbeds upon check in. To finish on a positive the location is excellent and the hotel has the most amazing ice cream/ coffee shop attached with gorgeous ice creams for 2 euros … I think our family went every day for the Dubai chocolate !"

"Just back from our 3rd stay at blue ivy and I would never stay anywhere else! Beautiful room as always, cleaned every day. The cleaning team work so hard, everywhere is immaculate. We even used the gym a few times this year, plenty of equipment if you feel like a workout. The pool area is lovely, we love the beds with the curtains, aqua aerobics for anyone wanting to join or just relax to the musicians who play at the pool on different days. Never a problem getting a sun bed. Food at the restaurant is amazing, every night a different theme, never had a bad meal, always lots of choice and the restaurant manager maurino is so welcoming to everyone. Special mention to David on reception who goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is amazing, he organised some lovely flowers for our anniversary. Trips,taxis or local information David is the man. And lastly nicos the amazing manager without him it wouldn’t be blue ivy! I’ve never been to a hotel that the manager welcomes everyone, he’s constantly around the restaurant and reception making sure everyone has the best time. We have already booked for next year. We have made so many lovely friends who we see every year that it’s become a tradition to meet up now "

"I stayed here for a week and left today. Staff were lovely and building is nice and modern however whenever we was in our room we could hear everyone in their rooms. Next to us there was someone screaming at his partner for a few hours then I think he left and new people came in. The thin walls made it so we could hear their tv all day and night. We also saw a cockroach in the hall way and below is a picture of pink sausages we had at breakfast. Not worth the money. Very disappointed as we spent a lot of money to be there"

"Not long home from the best 11 nights holiday at the Vrissaki beach hotel, the location is perfect and the views from the hotel are absolutely stunning. We watched the sunrise from our balcony which was beautiful. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and welcoming, the reception staff really are the best, special thank you to Stavros and Skevi, who we spent many a times chatting with, they are the kindess of people, nothing was too much trouble and your always greeted with smiles. George at the bar is such a character too and so lovable, we loved our evenings watching the football there, we was lucky enough to be out there whilst the World Cup was on so what more could you want than a big outdoor screen, beautiful views and a bar. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. We stayed on bed and breakfast basis and the choice was very good, you couldn’t want for anymore. The staff in the restaurant are so friendly too and just genuinely really a pleasure to be around as are all the staff. Protarus itself is lovely, so many bars and nice restaurants. The beach was my favourite part of it though, crystal clear water and the best part is if you book a sea view at the hotel you get to see it from the minute you wake up."
