"We stayed at Hotel Costa Caddu for 7 nights at the beginning of August. It’s a beautiful, peaceful, extremely clean and well-maintained hotel. We stayed in a Garden Room which had its own private veranda/porch that looks out towards the sea, which is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. We hired a scooter for visiting San Teodoro and other nearby beaches and towns, which were mostly extremely busy because of the time of year. I imaging it must be much quieter in September and October. The hotel’s main asset is its staff – always willing to help and very friendly. One observation (as we are both vegetarians) would be to have vegetarian dishes in the buffet marked as vegetarian, a common practice in many other hotels we have stayed in. Sometimes it was difficult to know which foods on the buffet were meat free, even though they looked as if they were (but weren’t). Otherwise, the food and service is of high quality. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable holiday!"

"Not a positive experience. The only advantage of the structure is the convenience of being a stone's throw from the pedestrian area of ​​San Teodoro. We were given the most uncomfortable apartment and with less privacy even though we had called and sent two emails reporting the presence of our two and a half year old daughter, asking if the apartment had a private garden. They replied that it was behind the apartment. At the back the garden was non-existent, there were tools and builders' huts because some apartments were being renovated. In front there was a small porch with table and chairs with zero privacy from which the people from the apartment next door had to pass while we were having dinner to enter the house. We had been given for certain the presence of a washing machine which by chance was broken, for two weeks they were unable to fix it. They told us to go to the laundromat in town. Access to the apartments is via an unpaved path in the middle of a lawn (very well-kept, undeniably) that gradually disappears into the grass as you go up with uneven terrain in the last part. The lawn is continuously watered and when you walk on it both in the morning and in the evening it is wet, with sandals or flip-flops you get wet every time and your shoes get soaked in dirt. Honestly we thought we had booked in a residence not in a campsite! There are communal deckchairs in the garden of the residence that are always dirty and the communal area with the sofas is always covered in bird droppings. During check-in they asked us for 7 euros per day per person (including our two and a half year old daughter) for utilities. Costs not reported during booking. Gas is supplied via gas cylinder, while the water that comes out of the taps is not drinkable. The tap water is yellowish in color, there is a problem in the entire area of ​​San Teodoro, also confirmed by shopkeepers and local residents. No mention was made on the subject by the managers, but they downplayed it following our requests. We therefore add the expenses incurred for purchasing bottles of water for cooking and washing food. When we asked for information for any need for a medical emergency, having a small child, they made us understand to avoid the one in town but to go to the town of Padru 15km away. We then discovered that there is a pediatrician's office in town and in a guide provided to us on the beach there are telephone contacts of doctors for tourists. "The hotel is very simple and well-kept, the staff welcoming and super helpful. The location is truly top: less than 5 minutes from the center and also convenient for going to the beach. On foot it takes 15 minutes to get to the belt while with the bikes available at the hotel only 5. An excellent experience! The breakfast was also very well supplied"
