Great location and easy to find. Lovely surroundings and outdoor areas. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for famililes with children under 10 as the height of the upper floors with no real rail protection could make you nervous. Dogs were allowed which was great if you are looking for that. Inside communal areas great and free to roam. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Very industrial-themed buildings so, if you are looking for quaint, it aint for you! Would go again.

Lovely little find, very clean with everything we needed for our weekend stay. Beds were really comfy (we booked for 3 people, one double bed and a sofa bed but ended up with 2 double beds 👍🏻), microwave, kettle, plates, cutlery etc and tea/coffee. Can be tricky to find so follow the YouTube video that they send, especially for the postcode. Parking was on street. Location is quite a student area but ideally located for a quick Uber into the city (@£6) and bus stops nearby. Accommodation is in the back area of the property so need to be mindful of the family home, especially when coming and going at night. Overall, pleasantly surprised and great nights sleep ☺️

We enjoyed the night with locals in a nice traditional pub . The room was in need of some mantanace work pealing paintwork on the bathroom ceiling and the bedroom pealing wallpaper damp . Needs a bigger TV and another bedside light.needs a light in the shower area and a light over the handbasin mirror for shaving

I enjoyed a lovely stay at Chatterley House - A stunning space to relax and reset along my journey. Jackie was a fabulous host, very friendly and accommodating. My room was exceptionally comfortable, cosy, and met all of my expectations and more. I can highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a homey place to check in to along their travels. The entrance was so difficult to get to, with such a huge detour to walk around just to get to the entrance. The service and check-in was woeful, when we checked in late at night. The person at the desk didn't know how to check us in, and the other person who was supposed to know how to do the check-in was not around- and had to be called back down. Long wait to check in late that night, even though there was no other guest waiting. The car parking arrangement was terrible as well, and didn't work with their supposed online link up with the parking provider. Very average experience.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, I really enjoyed my experience. It’s not often that you find somewhere that offers such good value for money while also being clean, comfortable and convenient, but this hotel definitely ticks those boxes. The price was one of the biggest positives for me. I believe I paid around £40 for the night, which I thought was extremely affordable considering the quality and facilities provided. For anyone looking for somewhere reasonably priced without having to compromise too much on comfort or cleanliness, I would definitely recommend considering this place. What I particularly like about the hotel is that it has more of an apartment-style feel, which makes the stay much more convenient than a standard hotel room. Having access to facilities where you can heat up food is a great bonus, especially if you arrive late or have bought something to eat and don’t want to go back out. It gives you that extra bit of flexibility and makes the room feel more practical and homely. The room and the hotel were also very spotless and well maintained, which is extremely important to me when staying somewhere. Everything felt clean and looked after, and overall I had a very comfortable stay. The staff were another highlight. We actually decided at the last minute that we wanted to extend our stay, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. They were able to let us extend our time, with the option to increase the stay by the hour, which was incredibly convenient. It’s these little things that make a big difference, especially when plans change unexpectedly. The staff were friendly, helpful and understanding throughout. The location is also not bad at all. You can walk into town, which is really useful if you want to explore the area without relying on transport. There is also easy access to trams, making it convenient to get around if you don’t want to walk everywhere. Another thing I liked about the location is the amount of takeaways and local shops nearby. There are plenty of places within walking distance, including options that are convenient if you arrive late at night and want to grab something to eat without travelling far. Having local shops and food options nearby makes the hotel even more convenient Overall, I was really pleased with my second stay here. For around £40 a night, I feel it offers excellent value for money, especially with the cleanliness, apartment-style facilities, helpful staff, convenient location and nearby food options. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, clean and practical place to stay.

Room was spacious and clean. The room wasn’t cleaned while we were there but that suited us okay. Didn’t see anyone on reception but there was a phone number if you needed anything. Unfortunately there were roadworks outside from 8 am so it was noisy but that wasn’t the hotels fault. We would stay again.

Just needed to put my head down for the night. Reception was friendly..I arrived late at 2340..friendly night guy..room was adequate for my needs..Room 9 cold tap handle was missing, but a shsve was possible and teeth with warm water..mattress protector needs a boil wash and new carpet would freshen things. Shower was luke warm but manageable..heating was fine..tv ok..1 night fine;)
