"A great hotel! Next to the station waiting, the rooms are on one floor, there is no elevator, but there is only one small staircase, the staff expressed readiness to help with the luggage when necessary. Beautiful view from the window to the sea, the room is spacious, there is everything necessary. Two cabinets, teapot, fan, couch bed, blankets, double bed. The pillow was one for a person, but one was provided on request. The staff at the hotel is polite, that on the respiratory, that on breakfast. Restaurant is beautiful and modern, breakfast is good, a large choice of fruit (even kiwi and pineapple). It would definitely stop still. Very beautiful terrace with 24-hour access with sea view and city view"

"We had an exceptional stay and a wonderful time at Sporting Hotel. One of the most magical places we have seen! Close by the main entrance and before the check-in there is a lovely and private terrace overlooking the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius! Really unbelievable! Upon our arrival we saw probably the best view of ever..!!! Our room was stunningly beautiful with a nice balcony! Food is spectacular, delicious cuisine at lunch and dinner. Sapori di Mare on the beach is a superb choice for a complete menu or a few of light meals! Also breakfast was quite pretty and full of options! The terrace restaurant DiSole di Luna is a real gem! And the waiters were great! The entire property is well kept and the staff was extremely courteous, they treat each guest with such warmth and make you as part of a family! Finally Armando ,the Hotel Manager who is a real superstar! Charming young man with a great talent to take care of people! Simply the Best! Even his team of ladies to cleaning rooms are well trained by Armando who came everyday to check if everything in the room was fine and perfect arranged! Vico Equense was a real Surprise for me and my family and we found it absolutely amazing! Hope to be back again. Anne"

"Just had a fabulous week at Do’Petro. Perfect location to visit lots of amazing Italian towns. The train station is literally a 10 minute walk which takes you directly into sorrento, typical hilly walk to return back to B&B. The guest rooms are really lovely and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is beautiful, all freshly made every morning, orange cake is yum! The staff & owners are attentive and always available. The pool is located in the Italian garden, surrounded by lots of beautiful fruit trees. Very quiet & relaxing after a busy day. Thank you Mike, Jo, Scarlett & Ol"

"The room was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is situated on a hillside overlooking the sea, offering breathtaking panoramic views. The hotel has a shuttle bus that picks you up from two train stations: Vico Equense and another whose name I can't recall right now. The second one is closer to the hotel. You can also book a bus to Naples Airport here for about €14 per person – a great deal! The bus journey takes just over an hour along the coastline, allowing you to enjoy the scenery on your way to the airport. The bus will stop at the hotel entrance; just ask the male receptionist. He'll tell you. I don't know his name because I was too busy, but he was incredibly helpful. He patiently waited with you for the bus, making sure you didn't get on the wrong one. I'm sorry, this place is just so incredibly beautiful. Once you're at the hotel, you don't need to go anywhere else. The hotel has about 22 rooms, so it's not crowded. You don't need to worry about privacy. The pool on the hillside is very clean, and the temperature is just right. The pool isn't deep. I'm 1.66 meters tall and can stand up to about chest height. Don't worry if you can't swim! The breakfast, lunch, and dinner here are all delicious. They even have lemon cocktails. I especially loved the tomato pasta. I've never had anything so good. This pasta was the first course of the main meal. Then on the first day, we had fried seafood. And for dessert, tiramisu. Italy is its birthplace. We watched the sunrise, sunset, afterglow, and the city lights across the way as night fell. We breathed in the fresh air deeply. On the stone path leading from the hotel's backyard to the restaurant, there's a lovely pomegranate tree laden with fruit. Below the garden is a cute little vegetable patch. All the vegetables are homegrown. There are lemon trees and fig trees. Occasionally, you might see one or two small lizards crawling around. Don't be afraid. You're much bigger than them. Swim for a while, sunbathe on a lounge chair, or play on your phone. After a good rest, go for a swim. This is a truly relaxing experience, and if you know how to enjoy life, don't miss it. However, don't book a deluxe ocean view room; you don't need it. The hotel's public areas all have stunning ocean views. The shuttle bus takes a break from 12 PM to 5 PM. There's no way around it; Italians need that much rest at midday. Besides picking you up from the two train stations, the shuttle can also take you to a nearby beach. I advise against it. Going to the beach requires booking a private club – the beachclub. They charge around €150 for two days. I don't think it's worth it. It's up to you. This was my first time staying at this hotel, and the value for money was amazing. What are you waiting for? There's a direct train from Naples. Have a great time!"

"The owner is a really nice person, despite this I do not agree at all with serving breakfast in such a small apartment. At 8 on Sunday, after a stressful week of work, the noises of the preparation began in the kitchen, a room next to ours, behind our bed in practice. But I repeat the apartment is small and they also woke up in the other two rooms. Then the partner of the owner, in charge of breakfast, started to make the living room and goodbye! Not to mention that without much enthusiasm we found ourselves at the table with strangers in the early morning. The kitchen is also tiny and not suitable for hosting six people sitting around a table. I strongly suggest giving up serving breakfast and only staying overnight. Not recommended!"

"We can highly recommend the Don Giulio Luxury Rooms as a place to stay to explore the Amalfi Coast. It is located in Vico Equense, which is about a 15 minute train ride to Sorrento, about 30 mins on the train to the ruins of Pompeii, and about an hour to Naples. Vico Equense is a charming coastal town perched on the Sorrentine Peninsula, overlooking Mt Versuvius and the bay of Naples. The rooms are a short 5 minute walk from the train station. There are many restaurants within a few minutes walk. A lovely breakfast is included, provided by a local cafe. The host, Paolo was very warm and welcoming, and could not be more accommodating. The rooms themselves are very clean, comfortable, roomy and tastefully decorated. We really could not fault them in any way. If we ever come back to the Amalfi Coast, we would definitely stay here again."

"What a fantastic experience! I was at the Laqua restaurant together with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have been welcomed with warm hospitality and after a quick tour to see the garden and the pool area we have started what will remain an unforgettable experience. We had chosen the two main menus (Nonna Fiorentina and Nonno Antonino) and a selection of valuable wines. The turbot with fried watermelon and the ice cream made with “provolone del monaco” are unique and the probably contributed to the awarding of the Michelin star. Chef Nicola and his team made that dinner priceless. It’s a real journey in a multitude of flavors. Top!"

However, when we arrived, the request was completely ignored, without offering us alternative dishes. Only after several complaints did the chef arrive and offer us a different first course. For the rest, we had to adapt to reduced dishes. However, the cost was the same as the full menu. Highly not recommended."

"Great base to explore the area. All the staff are super friendly and helpful, special mention to Mariangela who gave us lots of help with things to do and answered all our questions. Breakfast was lovely, pastries, toast, homemade cake, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, hams and cheeses as well as juices, tea and coffee Disagree with previous review that you need a car to stay here. Buses are easy to catch outside the station to the Sant Andrea stop which is a few doors from the hotel, they’re regular and cost €1.30"

"I also booked this year at Santa Maria Vecchia Relais because last June we really enjoyed ourselves! The beautiful, clean and very clean structure is excellent, but the best thing is absolutely the kindness, professionality and availability of the owners and, in any case, all the staff... "We didn't stay overnight but just ate, welcomed with a smile on the small terrace with 5 tables in total, a kitchen masterfully managed by Annamaria who creates express dishes based on the catch of the day, and proposes combinations as only those in the profession can do... we ate cuttlefish and walnuts (dish from a starred restaurant!), soute and caprese with tuna steak…EVERYTHING delicious including the conversations with her who manages the tables and cooks all alone, twice as good!!!"

"ホテルは市内中心部や、ソレントまたはナポリ行きの列車が発着する鉄道駅から徒歩圏内という好立地です。駅までは徒歩約15分です。客室は清潔で快適です。シンプルな内装です。広いバルコニーからは海が見えます。ただし、レストランのオーニングのためプールは見えません。バルコニーは広々としていますが、シンプルです。山と海の景色は美しいですが、海からはかなり離れています。朝食は素晴らしく、コールドカット、フルーツ、チーズ、ソーセージ、サラミ、パルマハム、ヨーグルト、シリアル、美味しいスクランブルエッグ、サラダ、ペストリー、ケーキ、ジュース、生ハムなど、種類豊富で質の高い料理が揃っています。朝食スタッフとハウスキーピングのサービスは10点満点です。ホテルは手頃な価格で十分な快適さを提供しており、朝食は5つ星にふさわしい水準です。気に入らなかった点：部屋の装飾が居心地が悪く、少し寒く感じました。景色は美しいのですが、かなり遠くて見づらいです。日よけのせいでプールが見えません。でも、値段を考えると十分価値があります。9/10点です。"
