Unable to contact Room service or Housekeeping direcly, via operator we have contacted each & Every time.
Food is excellent. Wide spread of great quality food for breakfast. Room is comfortable. The only complaint is I don’t have a view from my room on the first floor.
I was a bit agitated entering the hotel as there were neither welcoming greetings nor any indication where the reception located. There were each person standing at two different tables ( not the obvious set-ups you’ll find in other hotels) and we assumed that could be the one and approached one of them. Apart from that, we did not encounter any other issues. Food: It was a bit disappointing since greem park is known delicious breakfast and other meals. The chatnis were not up to the usual taste abd were bitter. Nevertheless, I will surely stay at Green Park again to give another go.
Location & Accessibility: The hotel enjoys a convenient location close to the airport, making it ideal for travelers with early flights. However, reaching the city center can be time-consuming due to heavy traffic conditions.
Accommodation: The rooms are pleasantly spacious and well-maintained in terms of cleanliness, which we appreciated during our stay.
Areas for Improvement: While the hotel has potential, we found that the service standards across reception, housekeeping, and dining could benefit from enhancement to better match the price point. Additionally, the room facilities appear dated and could use modernization to improve the overall guest experience.
Recommendation: This hotel works well for budget-conscious travelers, those seeking airport proximity, or guests planning short stays. It offers good value when booked with special offers or promotions.
Overall Rating: 3/5 - A decent option with room for improvement.
PPhương LMThe hotel is in a wonderful location. All facilities are well maintained and preserved, especially the gym. All services are good. The restaurant on 3rd floor is the most thing that I like in this hotel. I really enjoyed all nights in Holiday Inn Chennai Hotel. Thank you.
ゲゲストFabulous setting up on a hill about a 20 min walk down to the town(definitely get a rickshaw back). Didn’t realise we could order eggs for breakfast until our second morning (not offered them on the first morning). Cake at breakfast was yummy.
Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned on arrival and there were splatters marks on the wall above the tea/coffee area. We also returned to our room late afternoon to find maintenance working on our balcony - did feel this could have been done after checkout!
Fabulous shower.
We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was very good. The high taxes in Tamil Nadu added to the price (almost 25%) so bear this in mind . Cocktails weee excellent.
We did the morning ’hike’ which was well worth getting up for.
We were brought a hot water bottle on our second night which was a lovely surprise.
Tea & biscuits served between 5 & 5.30pm which was a nice touch although more of the breakfast cake would have been good.
Would recommend staying here as rooms, location & restaurant are excellent.
VVishwarAlways a comfortable stay at The Raintree, St Marys! Reservations are always well taken care of and staff always go the extra mile to be of help. Special mention to Rahul, Ritu, Ashton and Uma for making the stay really pleasant and for taking care of every small detail. Truly appreciate their stellar service! Look forward to be back
VVicky Rajaratnamwe have been staying in this hotel for a number of years when each time we visit Chenna.
The best thing in this hotel is their Breakfast spread.
A really wide variety of food and delicious in taste.
The rooms are very clean.
The location is excellent as it is very near to all the Shops in T-Nagar.
HHonser TanMy initial stay at this newly launched hotel was excellent. The modern facilities were in perfect working order, and the room was impeccably clean and comfortable. It was a promising start that convinced me to return.
Unfortunately, my second stay was profoundly disappointing and raised several concerns. The first room I was assigned had a strong, unpleasant odor. While I appreciate the staff promptly moving me to a second room, it only partially resolved the issue, as a faint strange smell persisted.
The second room had multiple functional problems:
* Non-Functional Power:** The USB ports and power sockets on the wall faulty.
* Inconsistent Hot Water:** The water heater took an excessively long time to heat up, disrupting my routine.
* Purify water contamination:** There's particles and oil from the purify water. It seems contamination from central filter.
Most alarmingly, at approximately 6 AM one morning, a **very loud alarm sounded from the door area.** This was highly disruptive and concerning, as it was unclear whether it was a security breach alarm or a triggered fire alarm. The lack of any immediate information or follow-up from the hotel staff regarding this incident left me feeling unsettled and concerned about the emergency protocols.
While the front desk staff were helpful in changing my room, the combination of maintenance failures and a confusing safety alarm indicates a significant lapse in operational standards. For a new hotel, this is troubling. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure the safety and comfort of all future guests.
VValentine56My wife and I stayed there for 3-days in mid July, overall stay was good and pleasant and we take this opportunity to thank Mr Ramar (Manager @ Cilantro) who was not only polite and professional, he went the extra mile to help us out in a complex situation that arose on our 1st day.
A well deserved PAT for Mr Ramar in exhibiting his professionalism
But I cant say the same for the Travel Manager Mr Balaji who vehemently refused and not even seeking any other avenues or alternatives to assist us, totally
no empathy shown at all bearing the fact that we being tourists cant access to all your facilities
This we consider a major setback as its reflects horrid customer service
AArivurajBerry Resort Hill Ooty Review: A 3-Day Paradise
I recently spent 3 unforgettable days at Berry Resort Hill Ooty, and it truly lived up to the hype. This is undoubtedly one of the best resorts in the region, offering breathtaking views that surpass any other I've encountered in Ooty. Perched atop a hill, the scenery is simply mesmerizing.
The resort itself is beautifully maintained and exudes a serene ambiance. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.
A highlight of my stay was the delicious food. Every meal was a culinary delight, showcasing a wonderful blend of local flavors.
The staff, particularly Mr. Predeep at the reception, were incredibly friendly and helpful. Their warm hospitality made me feel truly welcome.
Key Takeaways:
* Book in Advance: This resort is highly sought after, so I strongly recommend booking well in advance, especially if traveling during peak season.
* Embrace the Views: The panoramic vistas from the resort are truly unforgettable.
* Don't Miss the Tea Factory: A visit to a nearby tea factory is a must for any visitor to Ooty.
Overall:
My 3-day stay at Berry Resort Hill was a truly rejuvenating experience. The stunning views, excellent food, and exceptional service combined to create an unforgettable vacation. I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing getaway in Ooty.
I hope this review effectively captures your recent 3-day stay at Berry Resort Hill!
