Our family room window is much higher than normal level, we can’t see the outside view , when we open the shade, there is a staff walkway just a floor above ours. So we even can’t open the shade to enjoy daylight due to privacy. I believe other rooms won’t have this issue, but still not good for us. ❌
Everyday have different iced welcome drink in reception. ✅
Small pool but not busy, free without booking from 8am-8pm ✅
Our room has mini-kitchen, electronic cooker and hood ✅
Refrigerator is cold enough for really cold drinks.✅
No refill of bottle water and no mini- bar❌
No clean up of cutlery❌
Shower with good temperature range and enough pressure.✅
Just 2 pin sockets, no USB. ❌
Hotel location is PERFECT👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.Plenty of restaurants around. At the middle of famous attractions. 2 Supermarkets and self laundry around. ✅✅✅
Plenty of nice Algarve wall artwork.✅
Nice breakfast buffet ✅
Localização perfeita, pequeno-almoço excelente, quarto limpo e espaçoso, com todas as comodidades. Providencia estacionamento gratuito a poucos minutos de distância. Um hotel maravilhoso.
The renovated property is immaculate. The rooms tastefully designed, modern amenities, beautiful views. Breakfast is a dream along with the views from Atlantica Restaurant.
The staff bend over backwards. 54 acres of pure joy.
Great location in Carvoeiro, easy walking to the town center.
The hotel is perfect: location, amazing breakfast with great variety of food, pool, bar and view.
Great location with a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only downside is the fire door at the downstairs corridor entry which bang during the night. Otherwise this hotel is perfect.
Breakfast was also great with a fine choice.
SSbj66Decent Stay, but Could Be Better for a 4-Star Hotel
The Good:
• Location: The hotel is in a great spot—just an 8-minute walk from train Station and only 10 minutes by taxi to the airport, making it very convenient for travelers.
• Breakfast: One of the best parts of our stay! A great selection of food, and the addition of a piano playing in the background made for a lovely atmosphere.
The Not-So-Good:
• Bathroom Issues: Unfortunately, the bathroom had a bad smell, which we believe was caused by water collecting under the floor for a long time. The shower design was also frustrating, as water would leak out onto the bathroom and toilet floors. Additionally, the ventilation fan didn’t seem to work well, which made the smell worse.
• Construction Noise: This was a major issue. There was loud construction work from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., making it nearly impossible to relax in the hotel during the day.
• The overall entrance to the hotel didn’t feel like a typical hotel—it was busy and had a commercial feel, more like entering a shop or mall.
We’d rate it 3/5. While the location and breakfast were great, the bathroom issues, construction noise, made it feel below 4-star standards. With better maintenance and some upgrades, this hotel could be much better!
ゲゲストBrilliantly located in Lagos, just set back from the port. Rooms are spotlessly clean and great amenities. Housekeeping crew tremendous and generally the staff are polite and on hand to help - 2 guys doing the concierge role were great. Breakfast was marvellous.
The only downside to my stay, was the spa facilities: both the steam room and sauna were out of order and the small poolside jacuzzi, was rather hit and miss.
That said, was great VFM and would certainly stay again.
ゲゲストBeautiful hotel in an excellent location on the waterfront, within easy walking distance of many local shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants, historical sites like the old town, and the local bus station which is handy for a bus to the airport. The hotel is very clean and well-presented, and has a very nice restaurant and rooftop bar. The rooms are large with a luxurious feel, however a gap under the door let in a significant amount of light and noise from the corridor, although the corridor and other areas of the hotel were generally very quiet. The hotel restaurant is good, however doesn't really have much for vegetarians, and nothing for vegans, and is generally limited in choice, which is disappointing as the dining room is very nice, and the staff are excellent. The restaurant is also more expensive than many of the surrounding restaurants which offer broader menus and more choice for those with dietary restrictions, so was not very appealing. In all, I found this hotel to be very pleasant, and good value for money, with excellent, friendly staff who accommodated me well with their perfect English.
LLivinglifeThe hotel is a beautiful one, no doubt about it, but there are a few things that I wasn't happy with.
It is like most things you need to pay for. Needed to iron my clothes, I was told that I needed to pay for the service due to safety issues. Will get my stuff in 48 hours. If I wanted it earlier, I had to pay more. To get to the beach, I was i formed that I need to pay for a ferry to get me across... all this should have been said before a persons book. The hotel is a secluded, nice area. In order to navigate a taxi is a must unless one wants to walk for 30 minutes in the scrotching sun to catch the train or bus. Uber service is better than the taxi you would get from the airport as it is costly.
The food was good, in terms of variety ilI would say no, but it terms of taste yes great. Kudos to the chef. Staff are very helpful and understanding. Some drinks, however, are watered down. I love pina Colada, but wow, i had no clue what I got there.
Apart from that, I had a lovely stay, entertainment, the rooftop, top superb ( was there every evening).
