The hotel has a very nice design, and the staff there provided superb services. The person in charge Lily was particularly great and very welcoming.
Would definitely go back to stay there if there’s chance in the future.
Anji Kaiyuan Leaving City Resort is located in Changlong Mountain, Anji County, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. Entering the world with low eyebrows, the resort covers an area of 260 acres and is situated on the steep mountains, blending with clouds and mist.Starting from "seclusion", innovation has derived two core sectors: "high-end vacation" and "quality experience". Being close to the city and hidden in nature is a major feature of being away from the city. The resort has neat and unique guest rooms, setting aside the glamour like a charming poetic garden, waiting for every distinguished guest to come and uncover its mysterious veil. Whether strolling along the tree-lined paths in the mountains or sitting in the tranquil and exquisite courtyard, you can feel the tranquility and purity of a paradise. When you are in the boundless swimming pool on the mountaintop, gazing at the rolling sea of clouds, it is as if you can touch the intersection of the sky and the earth.Arriving at Anji Kaiyuan Licheng Resort, you will personally experience the wonderful fusion between mountains and rivers. It is a vacation destination far from the hustle and bustle, with a unique poetic atmosphere of mountains and forests, allowing you to feel the power and tenderness of nature, adding a touch of romance and poetry to your journey.
GgirlfromarsBeautiful resort with modern and clean amenities. View from the room was amazing.
The best part of the stay was the team of incredibly warm and lovely staff who look great care of us and our little one, from the receptionist to the pool lady, cleaning ladies, restaurant team etc. We also had sweet dessert and fruits sent to the room in a hot flask daily.
The bubble machine was faulty on day 2 of our stay and when the hotel staff found out we had a family photoshoot planned that day, they immediately called for someone to fix it so that we could have additional props for pictures, which was very sweet and thoughtful.
The only downside is that there isn’t very much to do within the hotel or neighbourhood and there is only 1 restaurant (although they are happy to take any special requests for food off the menu. We asked for 小龙虾 for example). Families would enjoy the well equipped kids playroom and activities they provide in the garden (kite flying, sky lanterns, bubble machine, balls etc.)
AAdventureDadThe location is beautifully secluded up in the mountain with fantastic views. The staff were super helpful and friendly and tried to make our stay as nice as possible. They took us to see a great sunset, showed us a reservoir where we used an inflatable dingy and rigged up a telescope to view the super moon. Our dogs loved playing with their dog DiDi. Unfortunately there were some issues most likely due to being understaffed and covid times. We arrived early and they were kind enough to let us use the room however they might have done a rushed job the rooms were not clean, the fresh bedsheets had not been washed properly and had some dirt stains. We went down to the pool and there was a dead frog and lots of bugs floating in there, my boys spent some time cleaning it out so they could swim, but we did not see anyone cleaning the pool during our visit. The common toilet downstairs was pretty disgusting and was not cleaned throughout our stay. During our stay we needed to ask for daily room cleaning and emptying the rubbish bins which they did sporadically. The hotel is also in big need of repair and maintenance. The main attraction was the pool but many tiles had come off the floor and there were many sharp edges waiting to cut some delicate feet. Our shower flooded the whole bathroom, the staff were aware of the issue and hopefully at some point can be addressed. The door handle to the balcony was almost falling off because you need to pull very hard to close it. The food tasted great and needs to be preordered. You might need to double check that they received the order as there were some confusion, dishes no longer available (we found out at the dinner table) and they ran out of rice.
Overall it’s a lovely place they just need to do continued maintenance and get some more staff to help cleaning then it will be a fantastic place.
RRoman B.We have rented the villa with 4 beds (the green style) for new year celebration with friends and when arrived to location were guided to the villa; however, immediately found that the villa was not cleaned after previous visitors. We returned to the reception and asked to arrange cleaning quickly, reception staff requested us to wait for cleaning staff and that the cleaning will take about 1 hour, we returned back to villa area but nobody was coming for cleaning for a long time, we have pushed for service several times and finally people from reception came to clean the facility instead of cleaning staff. Obviously, there is not enough personnel available. Special comment on this villa - it looks not good inside and clearly requires renewal of decoration.
After some discoveries during cleaning procedures, we finally insisted to change the villa as the current one was too dirty and cleaning went extremely slow. Another option was offered pretty quick and it was a good replacement - new decoration, clean and nice looking Van Gogh style decoration (pictures attached are from this one), however, we lost some time and instead of check-in at 3pm, we completed everything only about 4:00pm (we arrived around 2 pm, so all procedures took around 2 hours). We were offered to delay our check-out till 4:00pm next day to compensate the time loss.
All in all, everything ended well and our celebration was great, but too much challenges on the way, this is not what you expect for almost 2000RMB per night.
JJuliaFI literally hate when I book a room looking at the picture and get something different in reality. I’m a fan of hotsprings , and when I planned this little getaway with my husband, the room with a private outdoor soaking tub caught my eye. According to the photos on Trip.com , the room had a spacious terrace and a cozy corner soaking tub. When we arrived , they gave us some middle room and the soaking tub was right next to neighbors’ one, separated by a short see-through fence, as if we were supposed to bathe all together. When my husband pointed this out to the front desk , they made up some excuse how all the rooms have the same photo on the website and how they can’t change our room saying someone already booked that better room. I can’t confirm but I had a feeling they were lying because I never saw anyone on the terrace of that room.
This unpleasant experience aside, the hotel territory is lovely , they have a glamping area and the swimming pool. Very suitable for families to enjoy . We had a dinner in their restaurant and it was delicious . The Chinese traditional breakfast was included in the room price , it was very fresh and good as well. So in the end I’d still recommend this hotel but if you have a choice better not come during national holidays .
LLarissa IWe spend very good holidays at Little Forest Guest House. The guest house is very cozy, charming and clean. The service is good, the Western and Chinese breakfast, perfect for foreign guest. The Owner speaks English, he gave us advises what to visit and to do around in Anji ( Hiking , Waterfall, rafting etc). It is also pet friendly, you can take your dog :) Thank you a lot, we would like to come back one day!
ゲゲストThe hotel is high in the mountain and surrounded by trees. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The person at the reception was helpful. I booked the loft suite, which was nice in design and very spacious with a second floor connected by stairs. Nice balcony and an open air bathtub on the second floor terrace. I liked that the tab water in the kitchen sink was filtered (there was a fridge, but no stove)
The restaurant food is nice and breakfast buffet is small and simple but tasty (if you like Chinese breakfast like my family does).
Amenities were slippers , comb, toothbrush if you need. Shampoo and body wash in the room.
The hotel would be nicer if they paid more attention to maintenance and cleanliness. Housekeeping should clean a bit better. Our room floor was not very clean in the corners and the Japanese style toilet was not so clean. Some parts of the hotel facade and ceiling are damaged.
The pool had no water and I didn’t see anything written in ctrip that is seasonal.
