"Wonderful Hotel. Upon booking this hotel there was a lot of mixed reviews some good some bad. We were really skeptical about staying here based on what we had read on some of the reviews. I can confirm based off my experience this hotel is totally worth it! The two ladies that checked us in were very informative, helpful, polite and even went above and beyond on our last day doing everything they could to accommodate a later checkout. Our room exceed expectations. We stayed in a deluxe loft suite on the top floor. Air con worked great the bed was really comfortable, the room was very clean and bright and had been recently renovated and the bathroom was gorgeous. The view from our balcony was absolutely stunning. We had a full view of argostoli and half a view of the harbour. The breakfast was also very good. I would recommend going down at 8am when it starts so you get it hot! There is a big selection to choose from. The location is very very good, literally just off the main square, the turtles to the front of the hotel and all the restaurants and shops to the rear of the hotel. We hired a car and some days struggled to park but always found a space in the end. Other days there were spaces right outside the hotel it really is hit and miss. If you are going out in the car late afternoon/night. You may find yourself parking a 5-10 minute walk away from the hotel. Overall, we would definitely stay at the hotel again and recommend it to anybody going to Kefalonia, do not be put off by some of the reviews. (The bad ones are extremely over exaggerated! In our opinion)"

"We spent 2 days at Blue Jasmine. The outside spaces are beautiful. Our room was at the back, so no views really. It was spacious and spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. A little milk and a couple of tea bags would have been very welcome on arrival. Breakfast wasn’t great. The staff we met were pleasant."

"Unfortunately this hotels seems to have suffered desperately from The make money give poor service epidemic that seems to be sweeping the Greek islands. This is not a 5 or even a 4 start establishment. At a push it’s a 3. I do not expect to see signs such as ‘before you ask me have you thought about it’ in a hotel. This makes me think it’s a toxic work environment. Now for the review- your hotel rooms are dirty, hire more Cleaners, your reception staff are rude, Teach them Customer service, a QR code is not going to cut it for the price I paid. For 5* my towels and sheets are changed daily, if it’s three days it’s a three star. I should Not have to explain this to you. Your spa price is too high and you didn’t serve anything except pork or chicken in the entire 7 days. You are the 3 star at best. No map of the massive hotel And reception staff I felt I needed to pay to actually be awake. TUI, get rid of this hotel. They reflect very very badly on you as a travel company."

"We spent 7 wonderful nights at Avithos Resort, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The hotel’s perfect location made it an ideal base for exploring Kefalonia, and hiring a car through the hotel was seamless. The guest experience was great, and incredibly accommodating everyone we met were genuinely happy to help. Stella kindly made a couple of restaurant reservations for us and all the team shared their knowledge of the area and the wide island always making helpful suggestions. It was also lovely to meet guests who have been returning for years, which says so much about the warmth and consistency of the resort. The nearby restaurants were fantastic, especially Sea Salt, Preview, and Esperides, all adding to the charm of the area. As first‑time visitors to Kefalonia, we were struck by how genuinely friendly and helpful everyone was across the island. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stylishly designed rooms and spotless grounds. A little more storage, such as drawers and touches like dressing gowns would have been appreciated , but overall the space was thoughtfully laid out and very comfortable. One idea that could enhance the experience even further would be to use the lovely indoor seating areas for informal welcome evenings, giving guests a chance to meet the team and one another. We’ve experienced this in other hotels and always found it a warm, personal touch. We’ve already recommended Avithos Resort to friends and family and fully intend to return. It’s a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location, perfect for those who enjoy exploring by car and discovering the island’s many hidden gems."
