"Entering Italy from the Swiss valleys, we immediately felt the heatwave. Thankfully, when we got to our room, we discovered the AC was already on and cooling the place down! I was instantly touched. The skylight can be opened and closed, which is a nice touch. Breakfast by the lake offered lovely views. We were out exploring and missed our ferry back, causing us to be late for check-out. The front desk staff was very nice about it, repeatedly saying it was no problem. There's free parking available. The hotel's location is a bit further from the ferry terminal, but if you're driving, it's not an issue. You can just drive to the terminal and park there – perfect!"

"We stayed at Relais Villa Vittoria in Laglio while attending a dear friend’s wedding, and the whole experience was wonderful. The setting alone is stunning, but what truly made our trip memorable was the staff — especially Claudio and Leonardo. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, attentive, and genuinely fun to be around. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, checking in on us throughout our stay and adding a personal touch that turned a simple hotel stay into something special. By the end of our time there, it felt like we were saying goodbye to old friends rather than hotel staff. Between the beautiful wedding celebration and the incredible hospitality, this trip was truly memorable. If you’re looking for a place with beautiful views and even better people, this is it.
