「Check-in was a problem. When I got there and called to check-in the person I talked to said that my card had been declined and that I owed $30 some more and wanted me to give card information. I said that I had a printed confirmation in my hand from Trip.com that stated that it had been paid. After about 15-20 minutes and after I had given the booking confirmation number, the lady put me on hold and came back and said it was fine and gave me the room code. Otherwise, it was nice.」

This charming home boasts two bedrooms with three comfortable beds, perfect for a small group or family getaway. The master bedroom features a king size bed and there are two full size beds in the additional bedroom. Included is a washer and dryer and two bathrooms. The upstairs bathroom is equipped with a steam shower/sauna feature for ultimate relaxation. The inviting fireplace warms the living space, creating a cozy atmosphere for chilly evenings. Enjoy a game or two of pool or foosball on the newly featured mini game table. Step out onto the balconies to enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains, letting you soak in the beauty of nature right from your doorstep. There is a gas powered grill on the deck and you will also have access to the community tennis court and pond. It's the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility for a memorable stay!

Cozy Doe is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath full size home that sleeps up to 6 people. The cottage has AC and Heat so you will be comfortable anytime of the year. Cozy Doe is open year around and all roads leading to it are paved and maintained. We are also pet friendly as well. (No Cats)
Outdoor Space:
The outdoor space is something that you will definitely want to use a lot during your stay. Huge open deck with a gas grill and a screened in patio with Patio loveseat, chairs and a hammock swing along with it being tastefully decorated and a ceiling fan to keep you cool in the winter months. We even have a patio table and chairs.
You will want to take the time to enjoy this section of "Cozy Doe" and take in the outdoors.
Living room:
The living room has a comfy sectional with a pull-out bed along with cozy lighting and a large Roku smart tv, sound bar and dvd player. We even have games, puzzles and books for the whole family.
The Kitchen and Dining Area:
Fully stocked with all your basic cooking amenities, stainless steel Stove, Dishwasher, Microwave and Refrigerator. Check out the amenities section to see the list of kitchen supplies.
Cozy Doe has its very own coffee bar with a Keurig k-cup and Drip coffee maker. Next to the coffee bar you will find a pantry to store all your supplies should you plan to cook while you are here. After you see the kitchen, you will want to cook all your meals here. Cozy Doe has a large family dining table with seating for 6 people.
Bedrooms:
Tastefully decorated and a Queen size bed in each bedroom with comfortable sheets and a heated mattress pad should you get cold and a large smart Roku Tv in one of the bedrooms. Cozy log cabin, our cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway for a great relaxing drive. We are located in Meadows of Dan where there is a small shops, country store with home made food, fruit, and souvenirs. We are our only about 2.5 miles from Mabry Mill on the Parkway, they have a great restaurant (not open during the winter months). We are 12 miles from Floyd were they hold Floyd Fest in July. On Labor day weekend come walk one of the largest flea markets. We are 5 miles near the Chateau Morrisette Winery where you can go tour the winery, do some taste testing and have dinner. Close to hiking trails along the parkway. We are pet friendly with small non refundable deposit. Our cabin is located in a community of cabins. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, our cabin has wonderful views, walking trails and close proximity to Primland Resort, two award winning Wineries and the famous Mabry Mill. Slip away for a drive down the parkway to Old Mill, Skyline Lakes Golf Course, or even down the mountain to Mount Airy, NC - home of Andy Griffith!

We recommend that all guest purchase travel insurance. We do not accept guest alterations within two weeks of the reservation.
All roads leading to "The Little Red Barn" are paved and maintained.
While they do not happen often at all sometimes being in the mountains we will loose power or internet. However both of those are out of our control. We do not give refunds for power, weather or internet outages. If there would happen to be a power or internet outage please reach out to us immediately and we will get in touch with the internet and power companies right away.
4x4 is not required to access the property at all except in cases of snow.
While we do our best to inform our guest about upcoming winter weather it is smart to always keep the weather checked while coming to the mountains in the winter. If you would happen to get your vehicle stuck in the snow or ice the guest are responsible for paying a towing company to pull them out.
