"My boyfriend and I stayed at The Inn this past weekend. We were attending an event at Santander Arena and wanted something close to the event and found this wonderful B & B. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner/operator, Dennis who was very welcoming, accommodating and gracious. He gave us a tour and the history of the home and then showed us to our room. The Parkview, which is one of three rooms offered. Ours was the smallest, BUT very spacious. Dennis did give us the opportunity to view on of the other rooms, I believe it is called The Wilhelm. That was beautiful as well with a sitting room, claw tub and separate shower. Once inside our room he pointed out the amenities of the room such as the refrigerator, and an electric fireplace should we want more heat. The bathroom was charming with the old fashioned claw tub, beautiful wood blinds, wood molding/trim throughout, it’s like stepping back in time. The bed was a king and very comfortable. At the time of check in we were asked what time we would like breakfast. Breakfast was delicious. A fresh fruit plate with a variety of melons and strawberries which was delicious. Beverages were your choice of juices and freshly brewed coffee. And then waffles with your choice of fresh toppings. We had a very pleasant stay and will be definitely like to stay there if we are in Reading again. Thank you Dennis for your hospitality."
