「The room is big with basic amenities. Location is quite good as it’s just at a free shuttle stop. It’s May in Alaska, so a small fan heater is not enough to warm us up. Luckily the bed is very comfy n the blankets keep us warm during the night.」

Experience turn of the century charm in this 1905 Home that is an important part of Seward And U.S. history. National register property. Beautiful Hardwood floors, completely remodeled bathroom. Period details and charming, historic touches throughout. Views from living/dining, kitchen and bedrooms. This apartment style loft was the Original lodging for telegraph workers from U.S. signal corps in 1905 and through the 60’s. It was the original Quarters for the us army signal corps workers that operated the telegraph lines. Downstairs unit (separate entrance and apt) was the original cable/telegraph office. Walking distance to everything in downtown! Coffee shops, brewery, library, shops, restaurants, Sea Life center, park.

This is a beautiful home built in 2021. It is conveniently located in the heart of Seward Alaska. It’s within walking distance of boat harbor, downtown Seward and Alaska Sealife Center. You can walk north or south and find coffee shops, restaurants and shopping.
It’s a two story house. The ground floor consists of two bedrooms, full bath and laundry. The upstairs has living room, dining, kitchen, primary bedroom with bath.
The entire house is yours. In the winter there’s plenty of space in heated garage to dry out for your winter gear. Plenty of space for your cross country skies, skates and room in driveway to park a snow machine trailer for you lost lake enthusiasts. Our house was built in 1918 on one of Seward's original town sites. It is within walking distance to various restaurants, shops, Resurrection bay, and the Alaska SeaLife Center. Our home is two blocks away from the free town shuttle bus stop, and several quaint coffee shops are within walking distance. Hiking trails are a block or two away from our house, and the Seward Boat Harbor is one mile away; you can either walk or take a free shuttle.
Travelers provide their own meals. Outdoor grill is available. No interaction with the owner due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Snacks, tea, and coffee are always available. It has a small kitchenette but NO cooking stove/oven. Standard WI-FI is available but not guaranteed.
Private entrance. Two bedrooms with a private bathroom in each rooms. Both rooms with a personal key code.
