This was by far the best value-for-money hotel I stayed at during my trip back to China—Atour Hotel, Hualin Road, Fuzhou. The facilities are thoughtful and well-maintained, the room was clean and comfortable, and attention to detail was impressive. What I loved the most was the bed—it was perfectly balanced and incredibly cozy. The front desk staff were friendly and professional, the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended, will definitely stay here again next time .

I absolutely loved my stay at Anmin Hotel. Nestled within the cultural heart of Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, the location was perfect for immersing myself in Fuzhou’s heritage and charm. The front desk team was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. They went above and beyond, even assisting me with my Taobao purchases and making everything so much easier as a solo traveler. To my surprise, they also offered 2x complimentary breakfast for all three nights of my stay, which was a lovely gesture. I checked in on a weekday and managed to get a very good rate, making the experience even better value for money. Between the beautiful heritage setting, warm hospitality, and thoughtful service, Anmin Hotel was truly one of the highlights of my trip. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Fuzhou.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay – One of the Best in Fujian This is truly one of the best 4* hotels in Fujian, not just in Fuzhou. This was our third stay, and we continue to be impressed. 🛏 Room Comfort & Cleanliness The room was very spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. We stayed on the 5th floor, and our room had a balcony overlooking the garden of the breakfast restaurant, which was a lovely view. Despite the central location, the room was very quiet — we could not hear any street noise at all. 🤝 Service The hotel staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. We especially appreciated that they allowed us to store our luggage securely for a week while we traveled to Wuyishan and Xiapu. 🧴 Amenities Toiletries were well supplied and replenished adequately. Overall room facilities meet 4-star standards. 📍 Location & Connectivity The location is excellent and extremely convenient: 1) McDonald’s and Yonghui Supermarket (永辉超市) are right beside the hotel. 2) Directly opposite is the large shopping mall 五四印象, offering numerous dining options (including a Japanese restaurant), optical shops, beauty and hair salons, and many fashion retail stores for both men and women. 3) It is only a 10-minute ride to Fuzhou Railway Station, making it very convenient to travel to other cities in Fujian and even neighboring Zhejiang. 💰 Value for Money The room rates are very reasonable for the comfort, service, and convenience offered. Excellent value overall. 🙏Areas for Improvement 1) The breakfast buffet has a limited selection and could offer more variety. 2) The metal fence on the balcony is rusting and would benefit from repainting or replacement. 🌈Overall A highly recommended 4-star hotel with excellent comfort, service, and strategic location. We will definitely return again.

「エレベーターに近い部屋がいいな」と何気なく言っただけなのに、ドアを開けたらすぐエレベーターという部屋で、心遣いに感動しました！スタッフの方もとても親切で、ホテルの雰囲気も公式写真よりずっと新しくてきれいでした。予約時は少し迷ったのですが、結果的に期待以上でしたね！ダブルルームは広々として明るく、静かで清潔。何よりも驚いたのは、シャワーの水圧が最高だったことです。そして、ロケーションがまた素晴らしい！ホテルの左手にはすぐにフードストリートがあり、そこをまっすぐ行けば数分で三坊七巷に着きます。私のお気に入りのお店も全部近くにありました。外に出たくない時は、ロボットがデリバリーしてくれるので、本当に便利でした。大満足の滞在だったので、おすすめです！！

Good location. In the midst of town yet quiet. A very unique building on several split levels with old architecture and tastefully furnished. Very poetic, calming and suits the name of the place aptly. Excellent for quiet get away yet walking distance to Sanfang Qixiang. Very well prepared set breakfast served on a nice covered patio. Would have been a prefect stay if the passageway to the room is not interrupted with high thresholds and a rough rock surface as we had heavy luggages. Also several power sockets in room 致知 were not working. Could do also with more hanging hooks.

The dining experience is exceptional, offering a wide selection of both local delicacies and international cuisine, each dish prepared with finesse and flavor. Breakfast is a delight, with abundant choices to satisfy every palate. They also offered a beautiful fruit platter as a complimentary welcome amenity. 🌊 Great Service and Beach Location, But a Few Things to Know! We had a mixed but overall good experience here, mostly thanks to the wonderful staff. The Positives & The Room ✨ The service here is genuinely good! We originally booked a standard Twin room, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Family room. The upgraded room was absolutely awesome—very big, comfortable, and perfectly clean. Even though the hotel building itself feels a little bit old and dated, the spacious room really made up for it. Location & Beach 🏖️ The hotel is located right by the sea, which is beautiful. There are a few cafes right on the beach, though keep in mind their menus are quite limited. Also, unless you are visiting during the peak hot summer season, you won't be able to swim in the ocean because of the weather. The Downsides: Pool & Noise 🚧 Since we couldn't swim in the sea, we were hoping to use the pool, but unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed. I highly recommend contacting the hotel to check if the pool is operating before you book! The biggest issue during our stay, however, was the noise. There was active construction going on, and they were constantly fixing the roof next door. It was quite noisy and definitely disrupted the peaceful beach vibe. Bottom Line: A great beachfront location with excellent service and spacious rooms, but definitely double-check the pool and construction status before your trip! Juchunyuan Ruichun Hotel claims a heritage from 1865, but this was a modern multi-storey facility. It was really on the Northern edge of the city, a fair bus ride into town, but we got to where we needed. We had views of a colourful children's fair ground next door. The hotel is also quite close to the zoo in one direction (which we missed) and a short bus ride up the hill to the botanic gardens and forest park which were lovely. As a family of three we got two room which were clean an well appointed. There was no fridge or microwave, though cleaning staff were happy to keep some milk in their fridge so I could make a coffee each night. They also kindly did a washing load for us which we dried in room, not a standard service, but we were there for a week. Breakfast was part of the deal, which was a typical Chinese hotel breakfast (think congee, dumplings, veges with meat, pickled veges, fried tofu sticks, cake slices, fruit, soymilk, milk, milk tea, milk coffee). There is also a fine restaurant on the third floor which specialises in Fuzhou cuisine (including the rather indulgent 'Buddha Jumps the Fence' dish) where we really enjoyed a couple of their set meals. I believe there is a gym and pool onsite, but we did not seek to access those.
