"This hotel and its staff are absolute gems. We have returned on 3 September from having 10 days there. The room is beautifully designed and a really comfortable base for a holiday in Argostoli. The staff are super helpful. I can’t think of any negatives at all. The hotel is a stones throw from the sea and ideally situated. We will definitely stay again."

"We stayed at the start of the season and so there were inevitably a few niggles to over come as the hotel returned to life. However, none of these affected the stay - all of the rooms were superbly clean and maintained daily, with water refreshed daily in the room - great for when you had been out all day. The location couldn't have been any better. Right on the main square there was plenty of choice for food and drinks, also with easy access to the buses (we used two for excursions) and the seafront was mere metres down the road. All of the staff were lovely and pleasant, though I have to mention Nikolas (I hope I have spelt that right!) - he helped us really get the most of our week, helping us arrange a hire car, giving us insight on some unique places to dine but most of all, he rescued us. When one of our group lost their passport, our travel company were fairly slow to act and respond. Nikolas was helping us phoning the airport, the bus company and guiding us to the rep office. He managed to not only locate the passport, but he also arranged for its safe return. As an early riser, I went for an early morning walk pre-breakfast on routes that Nikolas had suggested and felt safe at all times, with the 24 hour receptionist greeting me every morning. I would recommend if you are a light sleeper, using ear plugs as it could be a little until the restaurants close in the evening, though after that, it was quiet - with super comfy beds! Overall, a really enjoyable stay and would definitely return (if I had enough annual leave!)."

"From the moment we arrived at G Boutique Hotel Kefalonia, we were absolutely wowed. The hotel is spotless—every inch gleams with modern luxury. Our room was pure elegance, featuring chic gold accents and gorgeous high-gloss marble floors that made it feel like we were staying in a dream. The location is ideal: just a pleasant 15-minute stroll along the waterfront into the center of town, with views that make the walk part of the holiday experience. The pool is perfection—sparkling clean, with a temperature that’s just right for a refreshing dip. The sunbeds are next-level luxury: large, firm, and irresistibly comfortable, perfect for an afternoon of relaxation. Housekeeping is simply outstanding. They go above and beyond, even mopping the floors daily so everything stays fresh and immaculate throughout your stay. Breakfast is the one area that could be enhanced—while there are pastries, toast, fruit, and yogurt, the selection is modest compared to the exceptional standard set by the rest of the hotel. In short: G Boutique Hotel is the definition of stylish, serene, and superbly maintained. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return!"

"Where do I start? The room was spotless and well-appointed. The view from the balcony was as good as one can hope for in an island. By being perched somewhat high on a hill, you can see the beachfront from a distance, and across the body of water, you can see Lixouri. The manager was friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating. When we had an issue with our keys, she went out of her way to help us out. The ladies who cleaned our room were thoughtful, friendly, and efficient. The highlight of each day was the breakfast buffet. Chrysoula and Elka were putting to shame any breakfast buffet I have seen in my many years and destinations I travelled. Frankly, there was only one hotel I stayed several years ago, in Stuttgart, that had a richer buffet. I think that says a lot. Oh yes, and one day that there was a bigger crowd and we came down late for breakfast, the ladies apologized for the fact that the buffet was not to their standards. I honestly think there was still enough food for 30-50 people..."

"We usually stay at the Grand Hotel which is just a few doors down the waterfront, but decided to try the Argostoli Mare Suite instead. A great decision as it has the same wonderful outlook, but more spacious rooms, in our case a suite, and is perfectly situated to enjoy all of Argostoli town without a car. Breakfast is an 8 minute walk to a sister apartment block, but is massive. You won’t need lunch! We also popped into the Grand to say hello to Marika (the lovely receptionist) and enjoyed a few drinks in the evenings. We enjoyed our weekend stay for sure! 😉"

"Everything about this hotel was terrific ! the staff was extremely helpful, especially with calling taxis for us - to and from the beach, to and from the film festival. Breakfast was delicious, and location was great. We were 5 minutes away from boats trips, less than 5 minutes to the central square. The room was spacious and comfortable, the shower was really good, the wi-fi was strong. We will be happy to come again."

"Definitely give this hotel a miss. The room was very small but the en-suite was miniscule, never seen such a small one, no storage or stool. There were only six hangers, for a double room!! No mirror in the bedroom and a hairdryer that wouldn't plug in, in the bathroom, difficult to dry your hair when you can't see what your doing. The safe was that high you needed a step ladder to reach it. The breakfast was adequate but mostly cold and the staff need to go on a customer service course, they stood around talking or on their phones whilst dirty plates stayed on the tables. No guidance as to where to get anything, including cutlery & napkins, no they weren't on the tables."

"We fell upon this as had an emergency due to flight cancellation at midnight!!!!!!!, superb night shift support and book in, little gem of a city type small boutique hotel, tiled floors, walls etc. Lovely room with all mod cons, comfy bed, good shower, A/c. Breakfast fantastic variety hot and cold and omlettes on request, quality excellent, staff very helpful and couldn't do enough for you, small pool out back of the hotel with a couple of loungers, location excellent for walking round Argostoli as one block from the front. We would definitely use this hotel if popping back to the island for a short break and a perfect base."

"We didn’t go in June 24, we have stayed here & times over th3 years, such memories, we spent our honeymoon here, making a good friend of the original owner Jerry, then later with Jerry, Jenny and little Jerry. , we had some amazing times here and thanks to Jerry for being a good and funny friend, thanks to Makis who gave me a bottle of water when I came over to find out what was happening ( he must have thought me crazy turning up , middle of the day covered is sweat! We’re finally getting back to the island next year. Looking forward to walking back up the hill under the stars from town. Hope they have got rid of Jerrys automatic pool cleaner as you couldn’t go near when he was cleaning it.anyway, for those who know it’s a perfect place"
