"The 100 year old house we stayed in was gorgeous and wonderful value. A quiet, clean historic kampung house on stilts; however, it was also outfitted beautifully with all the modern amenities, including AC, electricity and lovely tiled bathrooms with hot water. The grounds and gardens were gorgeous and atmospheric. The pool was the perfect temperature, and beautiful. The host family went above and beyond for our needs, including ordering a delicious satay dinner for us and driving us to a nearby rubber plantation and tapping a rubber tree for us to see and feel the rubber. It was near the caves, which we explored while we were in the area. Our family of 10 stayed comfortably and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Malaysia."

"We booked a cabin with a king‑size bed and river view, and honestly, it felt like a little hidden gem. The cabin looked brand new, super clean, and everything worked perfectly. It has its own Jacuzzi pool — nothing beats soaking while staring out at the nature. Breakfast and dinner were included, and both were delicious. We added a third person to our booking, and they got their own bed plus half board, which made things easy. The staff were friendly and the service was way better than we expected — they really made us feel at home. The hotel sent clear directions so getting there was no hassle. There’s a river nearby that adds to the whole “nature escape” vibe. If you want more adventure, you can book activities through the hotel, though they’re run by third‑party providers. Overall, Hijau Camp and Cabin gave us a stay that was relaxing, fun, and good foods."

"This homestay offered a convenient location near shops and felt very secure. The studio apartment surprised us - it was quite cozy for a family of four, including two teenagers. There were amenities like WiFi, a fridge, laundry, TV, and even access to a swimming pool. Plus, the view of the Kampar hills was breathtaking! However, a few things took away from the experience. There was no reception staff to greet us upon arrival, and the key collection/return process was a bit unusual. Additionally, the room had a lingering cigarette smell that lingered despite multiple air fresheners. Despite these drawbacks, it was a decent stay overall. The location, security, and amenities made up for some of the inconveniences."
