⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Most Memorable Stay of My First Trip to China I did a lot of research before choosing this guesthouse in Lijiang. Then I saw a photo of Aobai and somehow felt a calling 😂. I'm so glad I booked it because this turned out to be the most memorable stay of my entire trip. From the moment we arrived, Ah Zhi and Xiaofei came to pick us up from the drop-off point and helped with our large and heavy luggage. We were travelling with children and walking slowly, but Xiaofei patiently walked with us while Ah Zhi pulled the luggage trolley all the way. My first impression was that Ah Zhi and Xiaofei looked quite serious and intimidating 😂, but after getting to know them, I discovered they are some of the kindest and most helpful people I met during my trip. The guesthouse is tucked away among the shops, making it peaceful, quiet, and cozy. We were welcomed by beautiful lady boss Wang Hui with high-quality Pu'er tea and flower pastries. The hospitality started immediately, and the tea never seemed to stop flowing. Xiaofei, who constantly made sure I never went thirsty. Every time he saw me, he would offer me tea or stop by for a chat. Although my Mandarin is limited, communication was never a problem. We used Google Translate whenever needed and even had a few of our famous ”fresh air sessions” together 😂. Before long, it became an inside joke whenever Ah Zhi or Xiaofei saw me. Of course, I cannot forget Aobai, the true star of the guesthouse! The owners were always happy to let Aobai out whenever my children wanted to see or play with him. After one play session, Xiaofei even noticed my coat was covered in Aobai's fur and handed me a lint remover. Such a thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was one of the most unique experiences. All guests sit together at one long dining table, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. As a Muslim, I couldn't eat the noodles, but that was not a problem. I enjoyed steamed sweet potatoes, corn, and eggs, while the staff kindly prepared hot water for the cup noodles I brought for my children and even provided milk drinks. Everyone was respectful of my dietary restrictions. There is also a free-flow coffee machine in the lobby using freshly ground coffee beans. Thank you, Ah Zhi, for making fresh coffee for me. When I requested milk for my coffee, Ah Zhi and Xiaofei happily helped. These little gestures made me feel so welcome. It rained throughout our stay, but Xiaofei and Ah Zhi constantly reminded us to take umbrellas whenever we went out. Even when they were having dinner, they would come out to assist us, greet us when we returned, or see us off when we left. A special thank you to Wang Hui, Ah Zhi, and Xiaofei. Their warmth, kindness, and hospitality made us feel completely at home. On checkout day, our train was very early, and Ah Zhi kindly sent us off with flower pastries and milk drinks for the journey. Xiaofei also recommended a halal restaurant nearby, and the food was exceptionally delicious. I would also like to thank the other staff members whose names I unfortunately did not get. Every single person we met was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely caring. I already miss Aobai and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for making my first trip to China such a memorable one. This was truly one of the best 民宿 experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Two gentlemen welcomed us warmly with smiles and immediately helped us carry our luggage, which included two large suitcases and two small suitcases, all the way up to Level 3. We were also given a complimentary room upgrade because a larger room was available, which was such a thoughtful gesture. After checking in, they patiently guided us through the room facilities and made sure we knew how everything worked. On the first day of our stay, they also prepared a beautiful fruit platter and tea for us, which made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of. Their service hours are from 8am to midnight, but what impressed us most was how much they went beyond that. Whenever available, they also had a driver who could send us to the nearby Lijiang Old Town, making our trip even more convenient and worry-free. The level of care and help they provided is honestly beyond words. They made our entire stay comfortable, smooth, and stress-free. Together with the beautiful scenic views, their outstanding service made us fall in love with Lijiang even more and truly made us want to visit again. On our last day, we had to check out at 7am, which was outside their usual working hours. Even so, the owner personally stayed at the counter and set his own alarm just to help us carry our luggage down. He did not have to do this, but he still went out of his way to assist us. He also helped arrange transport to take us to Lijiang Train Station, which made our departure so easy and comfortable. The service at this hotel is genuinely excellent. I almost have no words to describe how grateful we are for such a wonderful stay. This is the first time I am putting so much effort into writing such a long review for a hotel, and that says a lot about how amazing the experience was. If you are visiting Lijiang, I highly, highly recommend this 民宿. The service, hospitality, comfort, and overall experience are truly top-notch. You have to experience it for yourself. ————————————————— 这是我住过体验最好的民宿之一，服务真的可以说是五星级，甚至远远超出了我们的期待。 从我们抵达的那一刻开始，就感受到他们满满的诚意。两位先生非常热情地微笑迎接我们，并主动帮我们把行李搬到三楼。我们一共有两个大行李箱和两个小行李箱，他们都非常细心地帮忙处理。因为当时刚好有更大的空房，他们还免费帮我们升级了房型，这一点真的让我们感到非常惊喜和感动。 办理入住后，他们也很耐心地带我们了解房间的设施，教我们如何使用房内的设备。入住的第一天，他们还贴心地准备了水果拼盘和茶，让我们一到达就有一种被好好招待、被照顾的感觉。 他们的营业时间是早上8点到晚上12点，但让我最感动的是，他们的服务完全不只是停留在营业时间内。如果司机有空，他们还会安排车辆送我们到附近的丽江古城，让我们的行程变得更加方便，也更加安心。 他们在整个住宿期间给予我们的帮助，真的很难用三言两语形容。无论是服务、态度，还是细节上的照顾，都让我们住得非常舒服、轻松、没有任何负担。再加上这里漂亮的风景和安静舒适的环境，真的让我们更加喜欢丽江，也让我们有了想再回来丽江的理由。 最后一天我们需要早上7点退房，而这个时间其实是在他们的正常营业时间之外。即使如此，老板还是特地留在自己的房间兼柜台，并且设了闹钟起床，只为了帮我们把行李搬下来。其实他完全可以不用这么做，但他还是非常主动、非常贴心地帮助我们。除此之外，他还帮我们安排了前往丽江火车站的交通，让我们整个退房和离开的过程都非常顺利。 这间民宿的服务真的非常优秀，优秀到我一时之间都不知道该用什么词来形容。说实话，这是我第一次这么认真、花这么多心思为一家住宿写这么长的评价，因为这一次的住宿体验真的值得被推荐。 如果你有机会来到丽江，我真的非常非常推荐这间民宿。无论是服务、环境、舒适度，还是整体住宿体验，都非常出色。这里不是只让你住一晚的地方，而是会让你记住丽江、想再次回来的地方。 真的很推荐，大家一定要亲自来体验。

Fantastic stay! We booked 3 nights, so the hotel provided free shuttle from Lijiang Railway station. The hotel has afternoon tea time from 2-6 pm while after 8-10 pm, there is also fire session for night tea. Our families are really happy. Breakfast is local noodles which is good; we have 1 day to leave hotel early, the hotel staff even prepare packing set of milk and crackers for us. Appreciated very much.The room is clean and like provided in Trip.com. Just only comment for drainage to fix. 6th floor hotel has really great view to see Jade Dragon Snow mountain especially on a sunny day. Hotel staff are really helpful and nice. Overall we are very happy with hotel staff, nice room and many hotel activities.

I had a truly memorable stay at YUNDU and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, tastefully designed, and warm place to stay in Lijiang. Overall, the experience was very positive, with excellent service, cozy design, and many thoughtful touches. There were a few minor areas for improvement, but they did not take away from how much I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was excellent and honestly better than many meals I had outside. The local auntie who prepares breakfast is incredibly warm and friendly. The mixian is very foreigner-friendly, light, comforting, and not oily or salty like many outside options. I requested extra vegetables and additional boiled eggs, and she was more than happy to accommodate. This care really stood out. YUNDU’s Samoyed dog, Sanjin (三斤), is truly the heart and mascot of the hotel. He is extremely friendly and intelligent. Staff would say things like “去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” and Sanjin would immediately come over. During my afternoon tea, he quietly came over and sat beside me, which was a very heart-warming moment. Upon checkout, I even received Sanjin fridge magnets and a Polaroid photo, which was incredibly thoughtful. First impressions were great. As part of the package, YUNDU arranged an airport pickup from Lijiang Airport using a clean, comfortable EV. The driver was friendly, chatty, and helpful, and the ride to the hotel was smooth and relaxing. I was pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade. The upgraded room was spacious, perfect for morning stretching, and included a large and very clean bathtub. Bath balls and a sheet mask were provided, which was a lovely winter touch. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were a bit soft for me, but there were firmer ones available, and layering them worked well. The blanket was thick, soft, and warm, and even during power outages, I stayed comfortable. Facilities were well thought out, including a Laifen hair dryer with strong airflow, a large high-definition TV facing the bed with VIP streaming access, and a large humidifier suitable for overnight use. The bathroom layout was excellent for winter, with separated toilet and shower. The electronic toilet has heating and auto-flush, and the shower area includes warm air from above. The mirror lighting is also great for makeup. There were some minor layout quirks. There is no floor heating, and the slippers were placed far from the entrance. The electric kettle was placed on a cabinet with no power socket nearby. Service was one of YUNDU’s strongest points. Staff helped with luggage, provided room tours, and checked in regularly via WeChat. When I mentioned possible altitude discomfort, they even gifted me an oxygen tank. The boss was friendly and happily helped me take photos with Sanjin. The only small gap was the butler service. I only realised who my butler was on the last night, and one included service, a butler-accompanied visit to Baisha Ancient Town, which never happened — neither I nor the staff remembered it until I reviewed my package later on Trip.com. That said, my butler was extremely efficient in arranging transportation to Lugu Lake, with smooth coordination and reasonable pricing. The entire property is tastefully decorated, cozy, and inviting. The fireplace in the lobby is a highlight and perfect for winter evenings. During my first two nights, there were power outages. While this delayed some of my work, the room stayed warm. The upside was zero light pollution, and I could see a sky full of stars, which became one of my favourite moments of the stay. I strongly recommend YUNDU to anyone looking for a beautiful view, thoughtful design, warm service, and a cozy yet affordable stay in Lijiang. If you love Lijiang, come to Baisha. If you love Baisha, come to YUNDU.

旧市街を見渡す素晴らしい景色と、背後に玉龍雪山を望む素敵なホテルです。朝食と動物たちとの触れ合いを楽しみました。大成さんは私たちの管家です。ホテルにチェックインする数週間前から、すでにWeChatで連絡を取り合っていました。彼は私の質問にとても親切に答えてくれました。旧市街の入り口まで迎えに来てくれ、送り出してくれました。石畳の上で荷物を押して歩く必要はありませんでした。彼は私のWeChatの対応もとても良く、彼の仕事範囲外の質問にもとても親切に対応してくれました（麗江から昆明への荷物の宅配便の手配を手伝ってくれました）。全体的に良い経験でした！

設備：広々とした客室にはブランドアメニティが揃い、美しくスタイリッシュな内装です。 環境：床から天井まで届く大きな窓からは素晴らしい景色を望めます。湖を見下ろしながら夕日を眺め、玉龍雪山を正面に眺めればパノラマの日の出を一望できます。バスタブに加え、使い捨てのバスタオルとバススポンジ、使い捨ての便座カバーもご用意しています。お子様用アメニティも用意されており、お子様連れにも大変便利です。 サービス：素晴らしいサービスで、不満は全くありませんでした。お子様連れや高齢者への配慮も行き届いており、とても居心地の良いゲストハウスでした。出発時にはお土産のサービスがあり、駐車場も利用できました。

這次麗江之行的住宿被雲曼狠狠圈粉！選對地方真的能讓旅行幸福感翻倍。位置是妥妥的加分項，就在古城核心區，離大水車、四方街步行衹要三五分鐘，出門逛吃超方便，返程時老闆還安排師傅到路口接行李，完全不用扛着箱子走青石板路，對遊客太友好了🥳。鬧中取靜的庭院超驚喜，白牆黑瓦配紅燈籠，綠植繁花環繞，坐在裏面曬太陽喝茶，瞬間get宋氏慢生活的愜意。 房間細節藏滿用心，寬敞又明亮，床品乾淨得能聞到陽光的味道，軟乎乎的床墊躺下就不想起，窗邊還能瞥見古城景緻，智能馬桶這些配置很顯品質，衞生更是沒話説，連角落都乾乾淨淨沒有異味， 服務貼心到像回老家！老闆和員工都熱情又親切，有求必應，還主動給我們分享麗江隱藏美食攻略和靠譜遊玩路線，完全不踩雷，太Nice了！！🥳🥳

The room was extremely clean and spacious with 2 queen sized beds that can easily sleep 4 adults. Nice hot tub in the balcony with both cold and hot water taps, can adjust to your preferred temperature. We were entertained by the voice control of common appliances in the room. The hotel breakfast and welcome tea break were delicious, and we could enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains while having our meal. All the staff we met were very pleasant and enthusiastic in welcoming us and making our stay an enjoyable one. A special mention to hotel staff Ava who helped us collect our laundry from the dryer and sent it to our room while we spent our day outside the hotel. Free laundry service at the hotel too, just have to diy. Overall great experience during our stay here, will strongly consider staying here again for a next visit to Lijiang!

予約する前は、一部のレビューで少し古いと書かれていたので、少し躊躇しましたが、実際に宿泊してみると、やはりフェラーリは古くなってもフェラーリだと実感しました！部屋の眺めは素晴らしく、カーテンを開ければベッドから雪山を眺めることができます。旬のフルーツの他に、ホテル自家製の花のパイも提供され、これが美味しくて、古城の店で売っているものよりもずっと美味しかったです！プレゼントされた小さな亀の飾りもユニークで可愛らしく、家に持ち帰って子供に渡したらとても喜ばれました。部屋のお茶は4種類も用意されており、麗江の特産品かどうかは分かりませんが、とても香りが良かったです。出会ったホテルのスタッフは皆、温かく礼儀正しく、特にバトラーのルーシーさんは非常にきめ細やかで丁寧なサービスを提供してくれました。滞在中は様々な要望にすぐに対応してくれ、サービス意識の高さは流石老舗の高級ホテルだと感じました。夫と私はとても快適に過ごせました。ベッドリネンも素晴らしく、私たちはベッドリネンにこだわりがある方なのですが、この2日間はぐっすり眠れました。この点は本当に書面で称賛に値します！朝食レストランの料理の質も良く、グループの経営が良いことが伺えました。レストランからの眺めも良く、スタッフのサービスも温かく、特に美しい民族衣装を着たレイラ・ヒーさんのサービスは素晴らしく、朝食レストラン全体が秩序立っていました。また、テニスコートも素晴らしく、ボールを打ちながら玉龍雪山を眺めることができ、宿泊客は無料で利用できるので、最高の体験でした！テニスをした後、夜はスパも利用し、150分間のロイヤルバンヤンシグネチャーケアを体験しました。先週バンコクで受けたスパにも全く引けを取らないほど素晴らしく、とても気持ちが良かったです。これぞ休暇ですね！テニス仲間にも勧めましたし、子供や家族の年長者も連れて数日間滞在する計画を立てるつもりです。

This was truly one of the most wonderful and memorable homestay experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, refined, and thoughtfully arranged. The entire stay was exceptionally comfortable, and every detail made us feel well taken care of. The room was absolutely beautiful: spacious, luxurious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It was designed with great attention to detail, creating a calm and elegant atmosphere. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy a stunning view of Yulong Snow Mountain directly from the room, which made the stay feel even more special and unforgettable. The amenities were also excellent, especially the Le Labo toiletries, which added a lovely touch of luxury. The highlight of our stay was definitely the exceptional service from our butler, 小杨. He was incredibly attentive, warm, thoughtful, and professional throughout the entire stay. From the smallest details to every request we had, he handled everything with patience, efficiency, and genuine care. What impressed us most was not only his responsiveness, but also his sincerity always made us feel welcomed, remembered, and truly looked after. 小杨 went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. His service was never just formal or routine; it felt personal, heartfelt, and full of warmth. He anticipated our needs, checked in on us appropriately, and made every arrangement feel effortless. Because of him, the stay felt less like a hotel visit and more like being warmly hosted by someone who truly cared. He made us feel completely at home, and his outstanding service left a very deep impression on us. The food and drinks were also impressive. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The afternoon tea was generous, with a wide variety of food, and the drinks were very enjoyable as well. Every part of the dining experience felt carefully curated. Overall, this homestay exceeded our expectations in every way. With its beautiful rooms, breathtaking views, excellent amenities, delicious food, and truly outstanding service from 小杨, this was a perfect stay.
