"This was a superb choice by a friend who booked the accommodation for me and with whom I enjoyed a most excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. The hotel has been tastefully modernised and the accommodation is stylish and comfortable but my hotel bedroom had the most beautiful, traditional French village scene you could imagine. The breakfast is generous and the whole experience was excellent. The owners speak excellent English and could not have been more helpful throughout my stay. A gem - "bijou" in all senses of the word."

"リヨンの中心部に位置する美しいブティックホテル。チェックインからチェックアウトまで、ほぼ全てが完璧でした。改善してほしい点は3つだけです。 1) ホテルのバーにスツールがなかったこと。 2) ネスプレッソマシンにシングルサーブのコーヒーメイトクリーマー（粉末でも構いません）がなかったので、冷たいミルクを5ユーロで注文しなければなりませんでした。 3) ヨーロッパの多くのホテルと同様、客室にウォッシュクロス（フェイスタオル、またはセルヴィエット・カレと呼ばれるもの）がありませんでした。ヨーロッパの人々は一体何で体を洗うのでしょうか？ ロビーはエレガントで居心地が良く、グランドサロンはまるで映画のワンシーンのようでした。客室は少し狭かったものの、デザインが良く快適で、エアコンとレインシャワーも完備されていました。 地下にあるプール、サウナ、スチームルーム、ティールーム、リラクゼーションルームは、リヨン観光で暑い一日を過ごした後に最高でした。カクテルは愛情を込めて丁寧に作られ、ヴィンテージグラスで提供されました。ただ、マティーニやオールドファッションドはもう少しアルコール度数が高い方が良いと思います。朝食ビュッフェは種類豊富で美味しく、アボカドトースト、トリュフオムレツ、*料理のアラカルトも注文できました。朝食付きプランで予約することを強くお勧めします。そうしないと、一人当たり39ユーロの追加料金に驚くことになるでしょう。 併設のイタリアンレストラン「アンジェロズ」は美味しそうでしたが、少し値段が高めだったので、フランスの美食の都であるパリで3泊とも外食しました。スタッフは温かく親切で、ヨーロッパでリーズナブルなブティックホテルのトップ3に入るホテルです。"

"The hotel is located in the Old Town. When I initially booked it, a platform oversight meant I didn't get a detailed understanding of the room types. I was shocked that a 5-star hotel would have rooms resembling Hong Kong's 'coffin homes.' I had booked for two nights but ended up fleeing after just one. The person who checked me in on the first day suggested we could leave (without explicitly stating that the second night's booking couldn't be canceled). When I actually checked out the next day, a different staff member said I couldn't get a refund, claiming the previous night's receptionist didn't have the authority. It was really frustrating 😓; they just pushed the blame onto temporary staff. This whole experience has taught us a lesson: always remember to keep proof in the future."
