"We chose the Travelodge as we had been invited to a wedding. It was first time visiting a Travelodge so we did not know what to expect. The staff where friendly and helpful. We order the breakfast to go we did not what this would be. Due to the weather being really hot as was on the bank holiday there was a fan in the room but could not open the window which did not do me no good as I suffer with asthma. My mum ate what was in the breakfast to go but what in the breakfast to go I did not eat the cereal, flapjack or the chocolate du pain as I did like any of this. I drank the milk and water from the breakfast to go. I will remember not order this next time. The room was clean and tidy."

"Husband daughter and myself stayed 3 nights. 7-10. Loved the location. Could watch the ferries come and go. Breakfast was excellent as well as the food in the evening. Could go out for days and come back to designated parking. Definitely want to come back next year, maybe for longer."

"Stayed here on business. Room was ok, quite clean (not sure what was all over the TV screen though) and the bed comfortable, but very limited lighting and no seemed WiFi. Noise from the bar down below, and other guests who clearly didn’t worry about making noise and disturbing people at 01:30 as long as they were happy was annoying. A fire alarm at about 07:40 added to the fun, but I was up and fully dressed when this went off. Got there too late for food in the evening, and was told that sadly there would be no breakfast due to a family bereavement. As such can’t rate the food. Wouldn’t be an automatic first choice for the future, but if it’s cheap and cheerful you are after, then it’s ok."
