"This is not a 3 stars hotel..."

"We had a fantastic week’s stay (Sep 2024). It was wonderful in every respect, the hotel itself, the facilities and grounds (the pool-Wow), the room, the food and drink, but most of all, the staff. Every one, in every department, was so kind and helpful, but also so efficient. It was especially good for us, as our daughter decided to come with us and celebrated her 30th birthday on our 2nd day with you, and all the foregoing helped make her day that extra bit special, so our personal thanks to the Hotel staff on that. I have completed what I hope is an excellent review, on the EasyJet questionnaire, and I do hope they recognise what an asset this hotel option is to them, as an excellent choice for a holiday. "The room cost almost 400€ a night, but there wasn't a sea view as such, just a tiny spot with a view. The room itself was very small! The shower and toilet are only a meter by a meter, with no partition. Is that so hard to do? When you shower, the entire toilet is submerged in water, the entire floor is submerged too. The staff is also very unfriendly, they don't even smile. The breakfast seems delicious, but it's unclear what you can order. The sausage is behind glass, and you have to ask for it to be sliced, the eggs are also behind glass, and you have to ask for them. We arrived and there was no one there at all, we didn't know if we could ask or what. They should at least put up signs saying the chef is coming soon and you have to ask him to make you some eggs and slice some sausage... Then the chef came and didn't say anything, silently, without a smile! We barely managed to get the eggs and sausage out of him! I don't think you should get such service for €400 a night, and the room leaves much to be desired. For that price, there's not even a cheap coffee machine in the room or decent shower gels. It's disappointing, a waste of money... If the staff at a hotel of this standard can barely manage a smile, they shouldn't be working there! It's like they're being forced; they should go straight to management if they don't want to be service staff."

"A scandal. The pool was closed for four days because there was no lifeguard, who hid behind phantom technical problems. The apartment was for five... only four chairs. The air conditioning was only half-functional. I had my dog with me, and at the end of my stay they asked me for a sanitization fee (which is fair and expected), but the dog's bed, which was also included in the contract, was never provided. To get the cleaning done at the right times, you had to ask someone to help you; sometimes they'd make you leave the room at 2:00 PM to clean. I'll conclude by saying that this was my third year at Tancamanna and it will also be my last. Not recommended as long as the current management remains the same."

"Wow! What a resort! We’ve just spent 11 days here and cannot fault a thing. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming all the time, from the reception staff to the bar and restaurant staff. Samuel makes the best pina coladas and was a joy to see each day with our aperitivos after our pool/beach day. The pool area is is the nicest and cleanest I’ve ever seen. The sunloungers are the comfiest ever and it’s the only place we’ve ever holidayed where no one reserves them! The hotel’s section of the beach is perfect too with a lovely restaurant and cafe a few minutes away. The food is fantastic with a great choice every day. We loved that you kept your same dining table all week. We also liked that the main courses and desserts were served by chefs rather than helping yourself."

"A fabulous hotel with stunning views. The pool was so natural with added joy of the most delicious cocktails! The room was so comfortable and clean. The main thing we felt that the staff were entirely professional but so so kind, helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and a lovely sense of humour. They were faultless.
