"We were here for the second time and felt very comfortable again. We were given a very friendly welcome and were given an upgrade with a view of Neu Schwanstein Castle. The location on Lake Forggensee is quiet and a good starting point for various activities such as hiking, cycling tours, sightseeing, cable cars, etc. Our suite had a living room, bedroom, children's room, balcony. Bathroom with shower and toilet were separate. There was a refrigerator, safe, 2 TVs, sauna bag with bathrobe and towels, kettle for tea and coffee. There was also a free bottle of water every day. The hotel has a wellness area with various saunas (60-90 degrees) and 2 swimming pools (1x inside and 1x outside). There are enough parking spaces and an underground car park for a fee. There are several charging options for electric vehicles. The breakfast is plentiful and you can find something for every taste. For dinner (with half board) you can choose from several main courses, and there is always a dish for vegetarians too. The staff is super friendly, so you can feel completely at home. Disadvantage: Lake Forggensee does not always have water. From October to March the water is drained, so there is no water in the area of the hotel. It looks a bit like a dried-up lake, but it serves as flood protection."
