"It's a beautiful resort with extremely courteous staff, perfect location, calm and green atmosphere, and superb (actually extremely comfortable) clean rooms. Everything was well placed and we enjoyed our 2 day trip to the best. The staff, the Manager, and the chef, Shri Dineshji, everyone was extremely hospitable and we would surely love to visit the place again. Some shortfalls: There are few things they need to improve upon: 1. No recreational activity available as shown on their web site, though they told they are in process of developing it. 2. The food choices are extremely limited and for a resort of this much cost, the choices should be vast. 3. Just for the rooms and without ANYTHING EXTRA, like cultural program, or gym, or kids area, or bon-fire, I am not sure if it is value for money. But of-course, the pure Rajasthani food which they served on demand was THE BEST LOCAL FOOD WE HAVE EVER TASTED."

"Our family holiday at Rohet Garh, Jodhpur was absolutely fantastic. We throughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay. A big thank you to the lovely team at the property. The kitchen /Resturant staff was so warm and welcoming it felt like home. The operations team was also very helpfully for guiding us and helping us with taxi arrangements and places to visit and eat in Jodhpur. The history and the vibe of the Rohet Garh property has left a big connection in my and my families heart. We also visited the Mihir Garh property for an evening coffee. The staff and team there were also very warm and welcoming. That property is also very beautiful and very nicely done. A big thank you to the lovely team and even more to the lovely owners of the property."

"What I loved most was the concept of slow travel—everything here is designed to make you disconnect from the usual rush and genuinely enjoy the surroundings. The rooms were one of my favourite parts, especially the mud houses. The detailing and craftsmanship throughout the property are incredible and really add to the overall experience. I also loved their zero-kilometre concept, where the focus is on local experiences, food, and culture. From enjoying authentic Rajasthani food and experiencing spice mixing to pottery, kayaking, a Raipur Fort tour, nature walks, and watching peacocks around the property—there was always something meaningful to experience. The private plunge pool, floating breakfast, lakeside hi-tea, and peaceful natural surroundings made the stay even more special. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s an experience that lets you slow down, connect with nature, and experience Rajasthan differently. Amazing property, beautiful detailing, and a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended"

"1. Spent 1 night at the paradise room with balcony. 2. Location is great, nestled among the prehistoric granite hill formations and Jawai Sagar lake. 3. All Staff are very helpful and responsive. Overall excellent hospitality. 3. Cottages are spacious, clean , amenities are well maintained and have a good touch. 4. The last 500 mtrs approach road is through narrow village lanes and adjecent forest route can be tricky . Call the resort before reaching. They will send an escort vehicle. 5. Restaurant and Food experience was very much to our liking, buffet spread was adequate. 6. The safari ride over the hills was a thrilling experience ! "

"The heritage style cottages are comfortable, each with their own balcony and spread out nicely on the property. Beautiful in the evening with lanterns lighting the paths to the cottages. The dining room and common area is in a lovely heritage style building and we also enjoyed breakfast outside under a tented canopy listening to the birdlife. The food was excellent and bountiful. The staff worked hard to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. We also enjoyed a successful leopard sighting on the evening safari. The bathrooms could do with a bit of an update and the shower was a little on the cold side but it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the property. I would recommend this property."

"I visited the hotel as part of a trek with Horse India. It was like riding into the past arriving through the gates of this huge homestead. If you want an authentic experience not 'tweaked' for tourists this is your spot. You are staying in the home of the original family and it was nice that the owner came to explain the history of the castle and how he was trying to run it now and save the heritage. There is a beautiful roof top fountain area where local drummers came to entertain us. The staff served us as if we were family. As a solo traveller my room was so large I felt a tiny bit intimidated but that is not a complaint! The bathrooms and amenities were all perfect and it felt like we were in a Disney movie "
