From the moment I arrived, the architectural charm stood out: sleek, modern white buildings nestled against a lush forest backdrop, with rustic stone retaining walls adding a warm, earthy contrast. The interiors are just as thoughtfully designed—cozy lounge areas feature a crackling wood-burning stove that invites you to kick back and unwind (I spent hours with my feet up by the fire, sipping tea, and forgetting the outside world). The outdoor spaces are equally delightful: sun-dappled patios with soft flooring, where my spaniel wandered by (a sweet, unexpected touch!), and gravel paths that lead to sweeping views of the wooded hills. Every corner feels intentional, balancing minimalist design with the raw beauty of the surrounding nature. What truly makes this place special is the tranquility. It’s quiet enough to hear the rustle of leaves and birdsong, yet the amenities are comfortable and well-appointed—no roughing it here. The staff (though I didn’t interact much, thanks to the seclusion) seemed attentive, and the little touches (like the firewood stacked neatly by the stove) made the stay feel personal and cared for. If I had to nitpick, it’s that the remote location means you’ll need a car to explore nearby spots—but that’s part of the appeal for a true escape. Service was excellent. Stayed here during my trip to Changsha. Though we met with a medical emergency and was unable to physically check out our own bags, the servicewoman attended to us professionally and helped us whenever we could. She helped us arrange our stay such that we moved minimally from room to room and even helped us check the availability of rooms when we most needed it. Rooms were clean and towels were changed everyday. Views were equally spectacular and the location was splendid - right in the middle of the business and shopping district.

My trip got cut short due to family emergency but my parent stayed at Xiangyu Xiangyue Apartment not too long ago and recommended this place so I am writing this on their behalf as they did not had the chance to do it. Location: The location is excellent — right beside IFS and within walking distance to Taiping Street, Wuyi Square Station, shopping malls, food streets, cafés, and convenience stores. Super convenient for both day and night activities. Apartment Condition: The room was clean, modern, and spacious compared to standard hotel rooms. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the air-conditioning worked well. The apartment comes with basic amenities like a small fridge and kettle, which is great for longer stays. Building & Check-in: Since it’s an apartment-style stay, the entrance is inside a commercial building. Check-in was smooth and the host provided clear instructions, but first-time visitors may need to look around a bit to find the correct lift lobby. Service: The host was responsive and polite. Communication was easy, and they were helpful when I needed directions and recommendations. Noise Level: Because it’s in the busiest part of Changsha, some street noise can be heard at night — typical for such a central location. If you’re sensitive, you may want to request a higher floor. Overall: A great choice if you want convenience, modern comfort, and a prime location right next to IFS. It’s ideal for travellers who enjoy shopping, nightlife, and easy access to transportation.

The front desk was very accommodating despite not speaking any english. Smooth check in and check out service. They were also responsive when you message them on wechat which is always a huge plus for me. Room wise, it was clean and decent. It has all the amenities you need. Hotel offers free pick up/drop off to the south railway station which was nice. You just got to let them know in advance and they will arrange it for you. Laundry was on the 7th floor and 20th floor and it comes with a washing machine, dryer as well as detergent and softener. I also had breakfast on the last day which was a buffet of western and Chinese food. It was one of the best breakfast buffet I had among all the hotels I stayed in China. Do want to note a couple of things: 1) there's only ac in your room. The lobby, elevators, restaurant, and the hallways have no ac and it can get very warm especially when it's hot outside. 2) this hotel seems to be part of an apartment which means that anyone has access to all of the hotel's floors. Of the two nights I stayed here, someone slipped a female escort ad on each of the hotel room's door.
