"The photos correspond to reality. Nice hotel away from the tourist trails right on the beach. Transfer to Molivos 4 times a day - 5 minutes to drive. If there are a lot of people, the minibus will make as many trips as necessary, but you will have to wait. I would like to note the helpfulness and diligence of the chauffeur (he is also the gardener) - a working man, in such a heat! Thank you for your service. Very nice greeting on arrival at the hotel. Alexandra was top notch - thank you for your attention to my wishes and such a luxurious welcome! You did an excellent job. Everything in the appartement is very simple but clean and pleasant. Wet cleaning was done every day. Thank you to the caring woman who cleaned apartment 279 from 8-16 June! You are very positive and do your job well. My best wishes to you. Kitchen utensils are minimal, but I asked for a kettle and a frying pan at reception and they gave me it. Generally, all the staff are very good at communicating, positive and knowledgeable. Thank you very much, guys! Buy greens and vegetables from the greengrocer in a makeshift stall right behind the hotel on the road (to the right of the hotel) - everything grows here, behind the fence. Very tasty. Cheap. Excellent clean big pool with sea water, beautiful territory around, but when I went to the pool there were no free sunbeds. Good that I did not need: I went to the sea. There is a minimarket, but in terms of food on it do not count on it. You can buy drinks, milk, ice cream, bread, bathing and sanitary accessories. All at a minimum. The tap water is ok for drinking, no flavour. Beautiful sunsets right from your poolside sun lounger. At the hotel the descent to the sea is steep, but 100 meters away you can go in. It's shallow and the water is very clear. I recommend to take bathing slippers - the pebbles are large. Molivos is beautiful and authentic. Immediately buy dry food for cats - there are a lot of them everywhere, they are part of the urban environment. You must go to the castle to watch the sunset. Do not go there in the daytime - it's hot, it's hard. There is 2 restaurants on the top, but you can just se sunset from the bench. There are no supermarkets, there are small 3-4 shops. Prices everywhere are nearly the same, high for Greeks. There is a pharmacy on the pedestrian walkway, prices are touristy. The best supermarket in terms of assortment is the one next to the pharmacy. And TK's supermarket - less goods there, but very sociable and pleasant owner Dimitros. He will cheer you up, tell you stories, give you tips. He feeds the cats that come in (nice man!) and you can buy cat food from him on clearance."

"What a wonderful relaxing holiday, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it’s was so chilled, we had a private transfer which took an hour, when we arrived and checked in, we were offered a free drink ( ice cold beer) and our bags dropped off at our room. The room was really clean and modern, was nice to see a modern shower in Greece. The beds in the room were firm. Balcony was surrounded by olive trees. The sun beds were comfy, pool had a nice shallow end for kids, we did self catering. We eat couple of times for lunch in the hotel bar, it was wonderful, reasonable priced too. The draft mythos was lovely they keep the glasses in the freezer!! Plenty of ice creams in the freezer too for kids. lovely man behind the bar never had to wait long to be served. Walk into town is a bit wild. ( no fault of hotel ) Needs a proper path as Parts are on the main road and it’s not lit at night so take a touch. Takes about 15/20 mins. Petra is lovely loads of nice places to eat and drink, very relaxed great food and the sun sets incredible. Land train is a great way to get about, plenty of taxis too. We would 100% return but have booked to stay in the next village or anxaos next august!"

"The hotel We went to this small village with our two daughters. The gardens are beautifully kept, very green, with flowers and palm trees. The houses have nice facades and overall well kept. We loved that although you need to share the pool with the guests next door, it was not really busy, sometimes it felt like you had a private pool. They give the pool good maintenance, I saw that they would also check the quality of the water. The house is indeed a bit outdated, but this adds charm to the place. They clean the house daily (except Sundays) and you can ask for clean towels. The staff was always polite and friendly. There is no supermarket in the premises, but the town is a mere 5 minutes by car where you can get all you need. There is a small kitchen well equipped, although the prices of the food are really affordable everywhere. There is also a small beach, close by, walking distance. I read that someone mentioned, murky water, but that is not true. The beach is clean and the water is not dirty, it just has water plants. You can easily go there for a swim. The restaurant The restaurant's food was delicious, I have to say that during our stay in the island the best meals (dinner) were at the hotel. I would recommend the sea bass and the Tigania. The waiter, Nicolas was really very friendly and his recommendations were always right. Breakfast was ok, eggs (hard boiled, fried and scrambled), sausages, ham, feta cheese, yoghurt with jams and cereal. They also had different kinds of bread and home made quiches (which were actually very tasty). The fruit, melon and watermelon. There is also a coffee machine, apple juice and some kind of lemonade, no fresh juices. There was enough choice for everyone. I only missed, (maybe in the weekend) something different for the kids, like fresh pancakes. The Greek night was a lot of fun, the ambiance, music and the show were great. Even the staff was dancing. I would definitely recommend it. The side of the pool is nicely decorated, make sure to reserve a spot on time. The location You do need a car to visit the rest of the island, there is no hotel entertainment, but we already knew that and we really didn't mind, some days we stayed by the pool in the hotel, other days we went exploring the near by towns with our rental car. Lovely island, everyone is friendly, the lounge chairs and umbrellas at the different beaches are always free of charge, you just need to order a drink by the restaurants. And the food is also really good. Cons, The beds are hard, it is already mentioned by other reviews. My husband had more trouble than me on this. The pillows were lumpy, if you are fuzzy about pillows, bring your own. Trash cans were almost broken and the washing machine had mold. My daughters forgot her cuddly toy, it was unfortunately not found... Despite this we really like the place and if we ever decide to go back to Lesbos we will definitely go back to this hotel. "

It has all the amenities you may need, the rooms are quite spacious and very quiet, but close to the town center. Breakfast is prepared on order when you request it. "It was my first time in Petra for me and my friends. This is the cleanest and most organized place in the area. The pictures the business posts on the web page and the scenery you encounter are the same. Clean, and peaceful. The owner, Evgenia, is very helpful in every matter. We really enjoyed the breakfast. There are various types of handmade pastries. There are also very nice marmalades and jams. It is approximately 500 meters from the center of Petra. Thanks for everything Evgenia."

"We had the most incredible week at Eleia, I stayed in one of the villa’s with my wife and her parents. The interior is very nice and calm, the bedrooms have a good size and have nice beds and the bathrooms were also nice and clean. The private swimmingpool and the lounge chairs were a big comfort, we spent most of the time relaxing at the villa because of them! And then the breakfasts: they were just too good! (It’s what we miss the most from our time at Eleia!) Every morning, Dimitra was standing at our door with a big tray for us with fresh fruit, greek salad, home made greek specialties, sandwiches, and a different desert every day! The French toast was by far the best I’ve ever had! But we also got cheesecake, apple crumble, pudding, and more! You can even choose how you want your eggs: omelet, scrambled, boiled or sunny side up! And the coffee is great too! The employees were so kind, they were like family to us. We hope to see them all again next year, because we are coming back, that’s for sure! The view is truely magnificent and there’s all kinds of beautiful singing birds in the area. We can highly recommend staying here!"

Panorama Hotel

"We stayed here at the end August/ beginning September. Although we paid a very reasonable price with Jet2 I was surprised by the quality of the hotel. Rooms were generously sized, clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate for us. Some fresh fruit would have been nice, but we don't usually go for the'hot' options' having tasted Greek bacon and sausage. They also did a 3 course meal in the evening for 15 euros. We didn't eat there so cannot comment on the quality. The pool never seemed crowded, although i did notice a lot of sunbathing towels, despite signs asking you not to. This was probably because a lot of the sunbeds are under permanent shade. The hotel is 200m from.the best part of the Petra beach. Much of the beach is given over to beachclubs. They are a bit crowded with fixed umbrellas - one in the sun and the other in shade, swapping over around midday. The music can get quite load too - mainly europop and dance music. However they only require a minimum spend of 5 euros per person during the day and don't continually castle you to buy drinks. Ghe main town starts about 800m from hge hotel, on a level road. There are about 10 restaurants in the town. The menus are quite restricted compared to other places we have visited, with traditional Greek dishes, grills, pasta and pizzas. Most of them are family owned and service can be a bit haphazard. There are also a number serving fish at very reasonable prices. I had a large dorada for 18 euros and we shared a gigantic sea bass at 40 euros. Prices in most places were like you remember 5 years ago. 3 of us regularly ate for less than 60 euros, with a litre of housewife included. There isn't much nightlife in the village apart from some bars. Those in the centre get very busy. All in all, Petra and the Panorama are little gems if you want a relaxing holiday. The only downside of the hotel is that it is built on a steep hill. Seaview rooms are higher up so don't request on if you have limited mobility. Also, the WiFi seems restricted to the reception and pool area. We could pick it up on our balcony but not in the room. There is, however, an excellent 5g service if you have roaming."
